Financial planning at Converse

  • Educating students about the diverse options for paying for college
  • Disbursing Converse-awarded financial aid
  • Helping students search for and obtain government grants, student employment, and other types of financial assistance

Important Information Concerning CARES Act & Student Benevolence Emergency Funding

Converse has received funding under the CARES Act to help students whose education has been disrupted by this pandemic. To receive these funds, you must have filed a FAFSA. We strongly encourage you to file a FAFSA for the upcoming year as soon as possible. If you have had a change of circumstances that won’t be reflected on the FAFSA, you may fill out this form

Please contact our Financial Planning Office at if you need assistance as we want to be sure you have every opportunity to access any and all necessary financial aid.

The Student Benevolence Fund has received some donations from students, faculty, employees, and alumnae/i. If you have faced additional travel, housing, technology, healthcare, or other costs because of the disruption caused by this pandemic and are enduring exceptional financial hardship, we encourage you to submit an application to the Benevolence Fund

As part of the request process, please explain your needs and how much money you are requesting. Any information you provide is confidential.
