A Note to Prospective and Current Converse Students
Converse College is committed to ensuring that new students who intend to enroll at our college are considered fairly in light of the educational interruption they have endured due to the COVID-19 pandemic. No student admitted to Converse College will have their admission rescinded due to changes in grading policy or the inability to complete their coursework, so long as they still graduate. Students who apply to our institution are still subject to a review process that focuses on one’s ability to succeed in college but now recognizes that some situations are beyond their control. We look forward to supporting students and high schools through this challenging time, both now and with future graduating classes impacted by the pandemic.
Sign up for a virtual tour and information session
You can sign-up for one of our virtual information sessions at Converse.edu/visit. You will learn about the admissions process, financial aid, watch a campus tour, and have the opportunity to talk with an admissions counselor.
We encourage you to register for one-on-one time with your admissions counselor by reserving a time that works best for you and your family. Admissions counselors can help you with your admissions application, review your financial aid information, and answer any questions you or your family may have. Click here to find your Admissions Counselor and schedule an appointment with them through youcanbook.me.
Official Transcript Waiver
We know that in this challenging time, it may be difficult for you to get an official transcript. We will accept unofficial transcripts from you at this time to complete your application instead of waiting for the school to issue an official transcript.
As a test-optional school your ACT or SAT test scores are not required as part of the admissions application process. If you feel your scores are a good reflection of your ability you are more than welcome to submit them as part of your file. However, it is not currently an admissions requirement.
TOEFL Test Scores
Converse will accept Duolingo English test. Ask your Admissions Counselor for more details.
You are part of the Converse family. And, like a family, during hard times we do everything we can to help each other. Now more than ever, you and your family may have some questions about finances. It is because of this we are waiving all undergraduate deposits from this point forward if you have filed your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and included Converse College (003431).
