Kala Hudson

Kala Hudson is the Director of Adult Learning and Veterans Services at Converse University. After eight years in financial aid offices at other institutions, she was happy to join the Converse family in early 2021. As a Senior Financial Aid Counselor, Kala administers the federal work-study and SC Tuition Grant programs and federal, state, and institutional aid.

As the Veteran Services Coordinator, Kala is committed to supporting our veteran students and their families through transitioning from military service to academic life. She confirms benefits with the VA, certifies enrollment, and manages VA payments. Kala participates in extensive and ongoing training to ensure she remains current on all VA Educational Benefits policies and regulations.
