Lainie Sowell ’13, double major in Intellectual Disabilities and Psychology, has been accepted at Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling in Portland, OR. Lainie will begin classes this fall, working towards a Master’s Degree in Student Affair’s Administration. She will also be working in the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities as a Graduate Assistant. Since graduating from Converse, Lainie has served for two years with Teach for America in Baton Rouge, LA and is currently teaching special education in Children’s Charter in Baton Rouge, LA.
