Karen Mims

After a childhood in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Karen moved to South Carolina in 2015. Since then, she has graduated from Converse University in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and as part of the inaugural Converse College for Women class.

During her time at Converse, she has served in various student leadership roles including Student Government Association President. In her presidency, she served as the student liaison and voice on the Presidential Search Committee and COVID-19 Task Force.

Now, she is exploring the world of Higher Education and is pursuing her Masters in Management in Professional Leadership at Converse. Outside of her role, Karen loves to host book club gatherings, solve jigsaw puzzles, watch stand-up comedy, and spend time with her loved ones.
