Michelle Bowen

Michelle Bowen joined the Communications department in March of 2021 in the role of Associate Director of Marketing. After receiving her BA degree in Communication Studies at Furman University, Michelle developed creative marketing and communications content for the automotive and sports industries for over 15 years.

In 2014, she made the move to education, first joining the South Carolina Governors School for the Arts and Humanities as the Public Information Director and more recently serving as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. Michelle has been an active volunteer with Greenville County Schools for over 10 years, serving in a variety of PTA Chair and committee positions.

Michelle and her husband, Patrick, live in Greenville with their two daughters, Sarah and Sophia. The family recently expanded with the adoption of a rambunctious rescue dog, Georgie.
