Graduate Music Student Wins Award from Metropolitan Opera National Council

Master of Music student Sherami Harris

Sherami Harris won the Encouragement Award at the 2020 Metropolitan Opera National Council – South Carolina District Auditions.

Sherami is a current candidate for a Master of Music at Converse College under the direction of Rebecca Turner. Ms. Harris has most recently appeared as Abigail Adams and Thomas McKean in 1776 with Converse Musical Theatre. Her recital will feature the duet between Suor Angelica and La Principessa from Puccini’s Suor Angelica.
