Junior’s Poster Wins First Place at SC Academy of Science Meeting
Courtney Dziewior ’21 (Nisbet Honors) was awarded first place in chemistry poster presentations at the annual South Carolina Academy of Science meeting at Francis Marion University. Courtney researched her poster, “Synthesis of Stimuli-Responsive Programmable Polymers: Will Ethyl Acrylate, Maleic Acid, or Heat Work?” with her mentor Dr. Sheri Strickland.
Courtney also presented a poster at the annual South Carolina EPSCoR Conference in Greenville, South Carolina.
