Dr. Erturk’s Mentee Awarded Fellowship and Honors at American Junior Academy of Science

Emily Giep, Science, Technology and Research Scholar (STARS) program alumni 2016-2018, received lifetime fellowship and full honors for outstanding achievement at the national level in scientific research and leadership at the American Junior Academy of Science meeting held in Washington DC. Research mentor Dr. Neval Erturk guided Emily’s research titled “Effects of Estrogen and Phytoestrogen on Breast Cancer Development”.
