Converse Plays Well In Spurts

All-Stars suffer their second loss of the year to a talented Lees McRae team. This was the closest that Converse has played Lees McRae in the past few years. Converse played well together in spurts, but Lees Mcrae was too talented for that to be enough. Jessica Simmons had some great plays as well as the defense worked well together as a whole. “We are hoping that we can take this game and learn from it for the future here at Converse College. We are hoping to take those small amounts of good play into Coker, but once again we must perform for the entire 90 minutes, says Coach Rossley.

The All-Stars take on Coker College on Saturday, September 6 at Hayden Abney Fulp Field. Come out and support your All-Stars for their first home game of the season.
