Ann Schein to Lead Annual Piano Clinic

The Converse College Piano Clinic will be held Saturday, February 9, beginning with registration at 8:30 a.m. in Blackman Music Hall. The clinic offers exceptional opportunities in piano instruction for both high school students and teachers of piano. Each student will receive a thirty-minute lesson with a member of the Converse piano faculty, in addition to experiencing outstanding performance and lectures by Ann Schein and members of the Converse College piano faculty.

Schein gives lectures and masterclasses across the United States and around the world. Since her first recordings for Kapp Records and her acclaimed Carnegie Hall debut as a young artist on the Sol Hurok roster, she has earned high praise in countless American and European cities and in the capitals of more than fifty countries around the world. She will appear in public recital Friday, February 8, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. in Daniel Recital Hall.
