Converse Ready to Welcome Largest Incoming Class in More Than 3 Decades
Converse is on track to welcome the largest number of new undergraduate students in more than three decades — at least 370 new students from 30 states and 17 countries will attend Converse in the Fall 2021 semester. The new students have an average GPA of 3.95, as well as a median SAT score of 1110 and a median ACT of 21 for those who chose to provide scores as part of Converse’s test-optional admissions process.
“Converse University is on track to welcome the largest incoming class of undergraduate students in more than three decades”, said President Jeff Barker. “With these new students and our growing graduate programs, including our doctoral program in professional leadership and our master’s program in marriage and family therapy, all of us are excited to have our campuses in Spartanburg and Greenville come alive this August with the energy and activity of all of our students.”
President Barker said, “I am honored to serve as Converse’s 11th president at such a time of growth and transformation. Talented faculty and staff, continuing improvements to our campuses, and a clear focus on academic success will help students as they join us this year.”
The most popular majors for our incoming class are Pre-Med, Psychology, Biology, Business Administration and Education.
