Congratulations to our 2018-2019 SCICU Student Researchers
Three Converse students earned grants from South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (SCICU) allowing them to conduct original research in the fields of music performance, biochemistry, and mathematics. They also had the opportunity to present their findings at the annual SCICU Research Symposium.

- Isabel G. Fangman ’21 (Nisbet Honors) and Dr. Jennifer Hawk: “Analyzing the Seasonal Change of the Heavy Metal Sediment Content in Wynyah Bay at Hobcaw Barony Heritage Preserve”
- Hayley Cromer ’20 (Nisbet Honors) and Dr. Peter Brown: “Sound_Graphics: Making Graphical Computing Accessible to Blind Programmers”
