Professor Goldhour Explores Relationship Between Interior Design and Mental Health

Visiting Assistant Professor of Art, Meirav Goldhour, has been conducting ongoing, collaborative research with Greenville Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Medicine Department.

Professor Goldhour’s research focuses on the effects of the interior design environment and mental health. She is examining the exposure of simulated daylight and nature visualization’s impacts on patients and their caregiver’s mental wellbeing. Professor Meirav will present her research at the Institute for Operation Research and Management of Science in Phoenix Arizona.
