Dr. Madelyn Young presented “Lumos! Using Harry Potter to Illustrate and Illuminate Labor Economic Theory” at the Teaching of Economics: New Approaches iPedagogy session of the 84th International Atlantic Economic Conference in Montreal, Canada, as well as at the 13th Annual Economics Teaching Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Young was awarded the South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (SCICU) 2018 Excellence In Teaching Award.
