Dr. Gabriel Ford’s chapter “Why Not Read Petrus Alfonsi’s Disciplina Clericalis in the British Literature Survey” appeared in the volume Jews in Medieval England: Teaching Representations of the Other. Dr. Ford also presented the paper “Sociality at the Margins in Petrus Alfonsi’s Disciplina Clericalis” during the “Precarious Bodies and Caring in Medieval Literature” panel at the Modern Language Association Annual Convention in New York City.
