Dr. Foy Raises 700K for SC Summer Music Technology Institute
Dr. Patti Foy received a grant from the South Carolina Department of Education to fund the Summer 2017 Music Technology Institute for South Carolina public school music teachers. Her running total in grants for the institute now stands at nearly $700,000. Earlier this year she served on a visiting accreditation team at an institution in Florida for the National Association for Schools of Music.
In addition to her role as Professor in Music Education here at Converse, Dr. Foy continues her position as the Executive Director for the South Carolina Music Educators Association, a role she has held since 2007.
