Psychology and Art Therapy Grad Finds a Unique Niche as a Crime Analyst
Amy McCarthy ‘04 didn’t take the career path you might expect from a Psychology and Art Therapy grad. She’s a crime analyst for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at the Southern Nevada Counter-Terrorism Center. Two of these analytical maps that Amy created will be included in the upcoming edition of the ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute) Map Book, an annual publication of maps.
