Two Studio Art Majors Win at Annual Juried Art Exhibition

Sarhel Franklin Our House piece at Annual Juried Art Exhibition at the Spartanburg Downtown Library

Maggie Riedy Cut-AfterSarhel Franklin and Maggie Riedy (Nisbet Honors) both placed at the 4th Annual Juried Art Exhibition at the Spartanburg Downtown Library.

Sarhel, a double major in Studio Art and Politics, won the Merit Award for her piece titled “Our House”.

Maggie is a Studio Art and English double major with a Secondary Education minor and an Art Education add-on. Her 2-colorscreen print, titled “Cut After,” received a Merit Award and the Purchase Award.

The exhibition will be on display until October 19 at the Spartanburg Downtown Public Library.
