Laurie Peebles ’10 Launches New Music Therapy Program for Cancer Patients

Laurie Peebles ’10 has accomplished more in the five years since she graduated than many do in decades. A certified Neurologic Music Therapist and past Curriculum Director for The George Center for Music Therapy, she led a team of music therapists at the Georgia State Capitol to pass the Music Therapy Licensure bill, making Georgia the third state in the nation to recognize music therapy as a licensed profession.

More recently, Laurie helped establish and now leads the Music Therapy program for cancer patients with the Greenville Healthcare System.
