Vicki Neal:" I Love the Example I’m Setting for My Kids"
“Working in a job that won’t improve or give you self satisfaction is more difficult than returning to school. Take the first step. Get started. It’s not as hard as you think and the benefits far outweigh any struggles you may face.
“When I first started classes, I was an executive assistant in the automotive industry. Now, 6 years later, I work for a CPA firm and am well on my way to gaining my securities license for financial planning and insurance. I would say I’m already seeing the advantages of my degree. My income has increased by 30% and I haven’t even graduated yet!
“It’s amazing how I can carry on a conversation about history and art in a way I never could before school. I have a new appreciation for so many little things now. When I read the paper, I understand things I didn’t before. I love the well-rounded education I’m getting. I love the example I’m setting for my kids. I just love Converse!”
