All-Star Tennis Wins Again

The Converse tennis team defeated Belmont Abbey on Wednesday, 7-2.

In doubles action, Tina Rohner and Danielle Beck were defeated by D’Ondra McGee and Emilu Arthur 8-5. Ive Jardim and Jenny Kile were winners over Laisha Lentz and Ray Ann Fisher 8-0. Andrea Weatherman and Virginia Jones beat Heather Henessey and Natalie Ashby 8-2.

In singles, Tina Rohner suffered a tough lose to D’Ondra McGee 7-5, 7-5. Ive Jardim beat Emily Arthur 6-0, 6-0. Danielle Beck was victorious over Laisha Lentz 6-1, 6-0. Jenny Kile got an easy win, beating Ray Ann Fisher 6-0, 6-0. Andrea Weatherman beat Heather Henessey 6-2, 6-0 and Virginia Jones defeated Natalie Ashby 6-1, 6-2.

The All-Stars, now 6-6 on the season, travel to Columbia College on Monday for a 3:30pm match.
