Converse Soccer Downs Lenoir Rhyne 2-1

Held to only seven shots in the whole game to LR’s 17, Converse prevailed to win the match up.

Ashley Carry scored the first goal for Converse in the 32nd minute of play. During the 15th minute of play in the first half, Allison Dalbec scored off of an assist from Ashley Carry to have the lead 2-0 at the half.

LR came out strong in the second half with Julie Dodds scoring in the first minute of play. But that is all that Converse would allow as the team held the lead for the remainder of the match for the win.

Converse will be back in action on Saturday October 16 with a 2pm match against St. Andrews College here at Converse.
