USC-Upstate shuts out Converse 3-0
The USC-Upstate volleyball team rolled past Converse 3-0 on September 8 with game scores of 30-23, 30-22, and 30-18.
Despite being almost evenly matched up in statistics, Converse just couldn’t pull out the win. The All Stars had 27 kills for the match while USC-Upstate only had 35. Leslie Shain led the Converse team with eight kills while Catherine Woodrum tallied seven kills. Brittany Ogez scored Converse’s only service ace, while the Spartans served up eight aces.
