Converse Drops Match To Erskine

The All-Stars are now 3-5 for the year after losing to Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina.

In doubles action,Converse’s Tina Rohner and Sandra Diaz were defeated by Dawson and Taylor 8-0. At number two doubles, Converse’s Danielle Beck and Christine Galop were defeated by Mages and Bharathi 8-0. Also in doubles action Andrea Weatherman and Virginia Jones were defeated by Stojkovic and Kiser 8-0.

In singles play, Converse’s Tina Rohner was defeated by Mages (6-4,6-2,) at number one singles. At flight two, Converse’s Danielle Beck fell to Dawson (6-1, 6-0). In flight three Converse’s Sandra Diaz was defeated by Taylor (6-2, 6-0) while at flight four Converse’s Christine Galop was defeated by Bharathi (6-1, 6-3). In flight five Andrea Weatherman was defeated by Stojkovic (6-1, 6-0), and in the number six spot Virginia Jones was defeated by Kiser (6-3, 6-1) .
