Women’s Basketball Falls To Queens

Queens College defeated Converse College 75-40. The Royals jumped out to a 10-0 lead over the All-Stars in the first four minutes of the game, and the All-Stars could not make up the deficit.

The Royals shot 42% (28-of 67) and 53% (8-of 15) from behind the arc, while the All-Stars just shot 23% from the field (15-of 64). Converse was also out rebounded 63 to 34.

Converse junior Melissa Bunce (Cartersville, GA) scored 15 points and had six rebounds to lead the All-Stars while Queens senior Tiffany Adkins had four three-pointers, scoring 15 points and grabbing six rebounds to lead the Royals.

Converse will travel to West Virginia this weekend to play West Virginia State on Friday, November 21 at 7:30PM and West Virginia Tech on Saturday, November 22 at 2:00PM. The All-Stars return home on November 29 to play host to Anderson College at 2:00PM.
