Converse Sweep Tri-Match on Saturday

Over the weekend Converse went undefeated against Brenau College and the host team Columbia College. In a whole team effort Converse dominated the Brenau match with scores of 30-16, 30-12, and 30-13. Leading the way for the All Stars were Senior Letia Felder (Cayce, SC) with 11 kills, Freshman Lauren Mueller (Foley AL) with 8 kills, and Freshman Michelle Sloan (Spartanburg, SC) with 7 respectively. The next match was more of the same with another dominating win over Columbia College. The scores were 30-15, 30-15, 30-24.Felder and Mueller led the way again, with 9 kills apiece. Junior Catherine Woodrum (Spartanburg, SC) added 3 aces in the win. These two crucial wins puts Converse at an automatic winning record on the season, with at 20-15 record with one game to go. The All Stars last home game is Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 7pm. Come out and Support Katie Boyd and Letia Felder on their Senior night!!!
