Converse Victorious Against Brevard

The All-Stars prevailed through a tough match up against Brevard College last night in three games. Each game was tight, with scores of 30-25, 31-29, and 30-26. Senior Letia Felder, (Cayce, SC) and Sophomore Leslie Shain, (Joliet, IL) led the way with 14 kills apiece. Shain also contributed 5 aces and 9 digs in the effort. Freshmen Lauren Mueller, (Foley AL) and Sarah Javdan-Inaloo , (Pickens, SC) contributed 7 and 5 kills respectively. Freshman Brittney Ogez (Tulsa, OK) set for 37 assists and added 8 digs in the win. This win places Converse at 16-15 on the season with 5 games to go. The All Stars’ next match up takes place Saturday, 2pm in Greenville, to take on North Greenville College. Converse Volleyball does not hold a home game until Nov. 11 in their Senior Night match up against Presbyterian College.
