Professor Blanchard Exhibiting at Summerville Gallery Through September 2026

Converse University Professor of Studio Art Andrew Blanchard has an art exhibition entitled “Hi/Lo” at the West & East Gallery through September 5, 2026. Blanchard is exhibiting alongside the recently awarded “2026 Griffith-Reyburn Low Country Artist of the Year” Katelyn Chapman. The exhibition features more than a dozen works by Professor Blanchard; this is the first time he has exhibited two large-scale sculptures.

Blanchard’s work varies between personal reflection and objective visual reportage. His works also explores issues such as boundaries and division, as well as the balance that can be found by summoning yesteryear wistfulness, negative or positive.
