Converse Commits to Cost Transparency Initiative
Aligned with its mission of empowering students to “decide wisely,” Converse University recently joined the College Cost Transparency (CCT) Initiative, a voluntary commitment to ensure transparency, clarity, and understanding in student financial aid communications.
Converse joins more than 740 higher education institutions across all 50 states in following a shared set of principles and standards centered around the belief that students and their families deserve clarity and honesty in navigating financial decisions.
Members of the CCT Initiative commit to transparent and plain-language communication around college costs. Accordingly, Converse’s financial aid offer letters contain the following: (1) sticker price, (2) aid types and sources, (3) what students pay (net cost) and (4) how to renew aid.
“Committing to the College Cost Transparency Initiative reflects Converse’s dedication to integrity, accountability, and student-centered stewardship.”
