Alumnae Board Thanks Caroline Morris ’64 for Leadership and Service
Converse College and the Alumnae Association Board extend sincere appreciation to outgoing board president, Caroline Morris ’64, for her outstanding service to the Alumnae Association Board and to the College. Morris, who concluded her two-year term as president on June 30, has served the Board in multiple capacities and on several committees for more than a decade.

Morris expressed appreciation to the College and alumnae as well: “Thank you, fellow alumnae, for your continued support and for allowing me to represent you as Alumnae Board President. I am confident that the leadership of President Krista Newkirk, our Board of Trustees and our Alumnae Association Board – along with your help – will enable Converse to continue to prosper and thrive!”
Morris is succeeded by Austin Faulk ’95, who was elected to serve for the next two years. “Austin brings experience and vision to this leadership role and we look forward to her continued service to Converse,” said Eggimann.
The Converse College Alumnae Association Board recognizes outstanding Converse alumnae/i each year at the Achievement Awards Ceremony during Reunion Weekend, serves as advocates for the College in their communities by forming and leading Chapters and other initiatives, and supports student recruitment efforts. Nominations for the 2019 Alumnae Board Slate will be accepted through February 1, 2019.
