Converse Announces Director of Alumnae
Converse announces that Ginger Corbin Church ’92 has been appointed Director of Alumnae. Ginger currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Converse Annual Fund at Converse, and will transition into her new role within the next few weeks.
“In today’s ever-changing world, Converse needs an alumnae director who will connect with alumnae of all generations and engage them in taking an active role in the College’s mission to advance women for personal and professional success,” said Cathy Inabnit ’68, Vice President for Institutional Advancement. “Converse alumnae share a special bond of sisterhood that lasts a lifetime, and Ginger brings the ability to celebrate and cultivate this spirit through her creative ideas, enthusiasm, and understanding of effective tools for communication and technology.”
Since graduating from Converse, Ginger has focused her career in the areas of human resources and fundraising. She has also been an active volunteer within the Spartanburg community through Oakbrook Preparatory School, the Girl Scouts, and her church.
“As a 1992 graduate of Converse, I proudly and enthusiastically represent the College,” Ginger said. “I look forward to helping alumnae connect with Converse through creative engagement opportunities and use of resources that enable them to easily interact with not only the College but other alumnae as well.”
