Converse’s Department of Natural Sciences offers hands-on experiences for students through original research projects and laboratory courses.
Our department’s laboratory courses will prepare you for graduate school in the sciences, for a healthcare career, or to pursue a teaching profession.
Our students to present their original research at regional and national conferences. Many of our students have won honors and awards for their research projects. All Converse students are encouraged to explore internships and shadowing opportunities to gain skills beyond those learned in the classroom.
We also offer general education courses such as Astronomy, Concepts in Biology, Concepts of Chemistry, Human Biology, Geology and Spring Flora that enhance the Converse curriculum for all students.
