The Department of Psychology
Converse’s Department of Psychology teaches empirical, conceptual, and theoretical approaches to understanding animal and human behavior. Through thoughtful lectures and research opportunities, our students evolve into both producers and critical consumers in the field of psychology. Converse students will communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, about their field.
Converse’s award-winning faculty teaches and mentors our students while guiding them through research projects, internships, and career guidance. Through integrating academic learning with practical experience, Converse prepares students for graduate school as well as professional roles in psychology and related fields.
