Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Converse grant science program NIH

Converse’s Department of Biology, Chemistry and Physics provides hands-on experience for students through original research projects and laboratory courses. Our department’s array of laboratory courses will prepare you to attend graduate school in the sciences, for a career in healthcare, or to pursue a teaching profession. We encourage our students to present their original research at regional and national conferences. Many of our students have won honors and awards for their research projects. You will be also encouraged to explore internships and shadowing opportunities to gain skills beyond those learned in the classroom.

We also offer general education courses such as Astronomy, Concepts in Biology, Concepts of Chemistry, Human Biology, Geology and Spring Flora that enhance the Converse curriculum for all students.
