Research, Internship, and Arts Experiential Learning Symposium

Converse University’s RISE (Research, Internship, and Arts Experiential Learning) Symposium empowers students to share their ideas, discoveries and artistic work with our campus and local community within a professional setting.

Open to all undergraduates, graduates and Converse II students, the RISE symposium celebrates student scholarly activities and achievements across all areas of study at Converse University – including the arts, music, humanities, education, natural and mathematical sciences, and social and behavioral sciences. Since its founding in 2022, the RISE Symposium has seen participation triple as of 2025.

Submissions are open for 2026 RISE!

RISE will be held at Converse University from April 13 – 17, 2026, with the Awards Ceremony on April 30, 2026.

Registration Deadline: Friday, February 20, 2026
RISE Materials Due: Friday, March 13, 2026
