Converse will hold its fifth RISE (Research, Internship, and ArtS Experiential Learning) Symposium from April 13-17, 2026. Open to all undergraduates, graduates and Converse II students, the RISE symposium empowers students to share their ideas, discoveries and artistic work with our campus and local community within a professional setting.
Converse’s 2026 RISE symposium will feature internships and research studies in: Internship Experiences, Music Performance, Original Music, Research Findings, Creative Writing, Personal Statements, Dance-New Works, Theatrical and Film Production-New Works, and a photo contest.
The music performance competition will take place on April 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM in Daniel Recital Hall. The 2026 symposium will run from April 13-17, 2026, with all student projects displayed throughout campus. Celebrate our students at the RISE Awards Reception and Ceremony on April 30, 2026, from 5-6:30 PM in the Barnet Room.
