Class of 2020 Reunites for In-Person Ceremony

In May 2020, the Class of 2020 made history by being the first graduating class to have a virtual commencement.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Converse shifted to teaching all Spring 2020 classes online, and most employees began working remotely. Sadly, the pandemic also meant postponing or canceling many Converse traditions, including commencement and reunion.

On September 25, 2021, Converse finally had a chance to honor the Class of 2020 with in-person Commencement activities. Grads finally had the opportunity to walk across the Twichell stage to receive their diploma, photo opportunities, Hats Off, senior brunch and other Senior Week traditions missed due to the pandemic.
