Converse’s Alpha Lambda Delta Chapter Receives Maintaining the Flame Award

The “Maintaining the Flame Award” is presented to select Alpha Lambda Delta chapters that demonstrate excellence in areas of programming, internal communication, and campus visibility. Converse is one of only six recipients this year.

Converse’s chapter is advised by Dr. Edna Steele and Dr. Jeffrey Barker, and the 2019-2020 year was led by: Chloe Griffin, president; Sydney Burbage, vice president; Sarah Monroe, social media coordinator; Natalie Jones, secretary; Abby Garvin (Nisbet Honors), events coordinator; and Jennings Cavin, junior advisor.

Alpha Lambda Delta is a national honor society that recognizes students’ academic success during their first year at a college or university.
