Dr. DeLapp Explores Confucian Approach to Caring for Loved Ones
Dr. Kevin DeLapp was sponsored by The Jackson Family Center for Ethics and Values at Coastal Carolina University to give a public lecture on “Caring for Loved Ones: A Confucian Approach” as well as a masterclass on classical Confucian political ethics.
Dr. DeLapp also led a community discussion about comparative perspectives on religious truth at Congregation B’nai Israel, which explored certain resources Jewish philosophy might have for addressing a “post-truth” political discourse. He had a publication of his on Confucianism and feminist epistemology positively reviewed in the journals Hypatia, Frontiers of Philosophy in China, and Religious Studies Review.
