Biology alumnae Jordan Taylor ’14 accepted a full-time essential fish habitat management position at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Charleston, South Carolina. She is also the assistant lacrosse coach for Pinewood Prep Varsity Team as well as head coach of the Junior Varsity Team.
Psychology and Biology alumnae Kandace Griffin ’14 (Nisbet Honors) started her Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife Ecology at Michigan State University after completing her Master’s Degree in Animal Behavior at the University of Exeter (England) with the distinction of highest GPA. She was accepted into the PhD Program at Michigan State University. Kandace will be researching the movement ecology of sea lamprey, an invasive fish to the Great Lakes. She will be part of a research team who will be discovering ways to control the population of sea lamprey without significant impacts to other species or the environment.
Spanish and Biology alumnae Maya James ’14 (Nisbet Honors) is a first-year Physician Assistant student at Charleston Southern University.
