2018 Seniors Have Their Sights Set on Grad School
Students in the Class of 2018 are weighing their options for life after Converse. See where some our soon-to-be-grads may be headed:
- Biology major Megan Goodwin was accepted into the MS Program in Environmental Science at the University of Colorado Denver.
- Art Therapy and Psychology major Alyssa Myers (Nisbet Honors) was accepted to Texas State University for the Masters of Science in Family & Child/Child Life Specialist Program.
- Spanish major Kaitlin Knight was accepted into the MS of Community Engaged Medicine Program at Furman University.
- Biology major Jane Macsay was accepted into the MUSC College of Nursing Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program.
- Art Therapy and Psychology major Caroline Adams was accepted to the Masters in Social Work/Counseling at Columbia International University.
- Studio Art major Alex Schlesener (Nisbet Honors) was accepted into the Master of Fine Arts program with a partial scholarship for Savannah College of Art and Design’s animation program.
- Biochemistry major Jessica Morgan (Nisbet Honors) was accepted to a number of PhD in Pharmaceutical Science programs including The University of Texas, The University of Southern California, and The University of North Carolina and several others. Jessica will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which has the #1 ranked College of Pharmacy in the nation.
- Art Therapy major Kelly Brown was accepted to the Masters in Art Therapy Program at Florida State University.
- Psychology major Emily Parker (Nisbet Honors) was accepted into the Augusta University Biomedical Sciences PhD Program.
- Art Therapy major and Converse II student Keisha Hardy was accepted to Liberty University for the Masters in Counseling/Trauma program.
- Biochemistry major Melissa Brock (Nisbet Honors) has been accepted into George Washington University, Columbia University, Emory University, Texas A&M University, Boston University, and the University of Texas.
- Mathematics major Brittni Jones (Nisbet Honors) has been accepted into Biomedical Science program at Augusta University and into the University of California Riverside Biomedical Sciences PhD program.
- Biology major Kendall Polk (Nisbet Honors) has been accepted into Detroit Mercy Dental School and has been invited to join the Peace Corp to teach in Moldova.
- Chemistry major Mikayla Santoro has been accepted to the MS in Forensic Toxicology program at Thomas Jefferson University.
