Dr. Rafael E. Hernández presented his research paper, “Estética y espacios barrocos en la narrativa de Gabriel García Márquez” (“Aesthetics and Baroque Spaces in Gabriel García Márquez’s Narrative”) at the 64th Annual Conference of the Southeastern Council on Latin American Studies, held at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Hernández also chaired the panel on Memoir, Allegory and Aesthetics in Colombian and Mexican Literature.
