Two Faculty Members Exhibit at ArtFields

Visiting Professor of Art, Mary Carlisle and Adjunct Professor, Vivianne Carey both had sculptures featured at the annual ArtFields exhibition in Lake City, SC. The nine-day event honors Southeastern artists and bases awards on input from visitors.
The image above is a sculpture by Vivianne Carey. She describes her work as “… a metaphor for the darker aspects of life but with a regenerative perspective. Like a beautiful nightmare, these objects, made from primarily glass and steel are reminiscent of haunted treasures found in a reliquary.”
