Congratulations to the 2016-17 SCICU Student Researchers
Imagine being paid all summer just to learn about a topic that truly fascinates you, then presenting what you learned to a gathering of peers, professors, and professionals from across the state – sometimes across the nation. This year, four Converse students earned money through a South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (SCICU) grant to conduct original research in the fields of psychology, literature, and biology. In February they presented their findings at the annual SCICU Research Symposium. This is just one example of the research opportunities uniquely available at Converse.
