Exploring the Birthplace of Women’s Lib: “She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry”
Politics alumna Nivedita Bagchi ’01, Associate Professor of Government and Political Affairs, and Director of Women’s Studies at Millersville University, will be on campus for a panel discussion of the film “She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry.” The film is an exploration of the women’s liberation movement of the 1960s and 1970s.
After the November 17 screening, Dr. Bagchi will join Dr. Julie Sexeny, associate professor of film studies at Wofford College; and Ann Warner, executive director of South Carolina Women’s Rights and Empowerment Network for a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Melissa Walker.
