Converse College’s new Music Business Program honored the legendary and groundbreaking music of the Beatles as part of their practicum. Acclaimed singer-songwriter Jim Avett headlined the show,
accompanied by more than a dozen local performers including Rescue Party, Jukebox 45, Sugar Black Rose, Rob Seel & Lesley Diane, and Buck Shoals.
Professor John Jeter, head of the Music Business program, told the Spartanburg Herald-Journal, “The students have done a phenomenal job. I threw the idea out at them, and they picked up the ball and ran with it. They’re the ones who are making it happen.”
