Alumna Empowers Women Through Dance
Dr. Grace Adams Bagwell ’07 minored in Dance at Converse and is the founding director of the Modern Pin-Ups and the Dancefx Tap Company in Athens, GA. Grace is a proud supporter of empowering women through creative energy, dance, and performance. She also contributes her talents to community engagement with organizations such as Project Safe’s Dancing With the Athens Stars event and Stomp Out Domestic Violence. Grace believes in continuing education, annually attending dance class and workshops such as the Pulse NYC.
In addition to her dance endeavors, Grace serves as a doctoral fellow at the Fanning Institute, a division of Public Service & Outreach at the University of Georgia. The Fanning Institute specializes in the areas of community and economic development and inclusion.
Grace is currently an assistant professor at the School of Health Policy and Management at the University of Georgia where she was the 2014 Professor of the Year in the Department of Public Administration & Policy.
