“These words, combined with the empowering education I received from Converse, truly changed my life, instilling in me the confidence to follow my passion.”
In May 2014 Melody received her MA in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University where her course work focused on business management. When asked about her most fond memory at Converse, she states, “On the first day of my first class at Converse, I heard these words from my professor, advisor, and now friend Dr. Zan Schuweiler. She said ‘Follow your bliss and your bliss will follow.’ These words, combined with the empowering education I received from Converse College, truly changed my life as they instilled in me the confidence to follow my passion.” Melody currently works as the business assistant to an internationally exhibited Dallas, and New York, based artist.
