Theatre Converse Ends 2010-2011 Season with "Rabbit Hole"

Theatre Converse will present the final main stage production for this year, Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire, on Thursday – Saturday, April 28 – 30 at 8 pm and Sunday, May 1 at 2 pm in Hazel B. Abbott Theatre in Wilson Hall. Admission is $4 for students and $8 for adults. For tickets, call the theatre box office at 864.596.9068.
Rabbit Hole won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize and its motion picture version earned Nicole Kidman a nomination for Best Actress at the 2011 Academy Awards. This play is for mature audiences.
USA Today said that “Rabbit Hole presents a tragedy and its consequences with utter candor, and without sentimentality. The dialogue is most impressive for capturing the awkwardness and pain of thinking people faced with an unthinkable situation—and eventually, their capacity for survival, and even hope.”
In the story, Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. Rabbit Hole charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.
The cast includes: Stephanie Halpin (sophomore) as “Becca,” Wilson Boggs as “Howie,” Ansley Boggs as “Nat,” Rachel Atkins (freshman) as “Izzy” and Steve Harris as “Jason.”
